Rinnai water heater is a subsidiary of Rinnai Corporation which is wholly owned by Rinnai Japan.

Rinnai Corporation has been marketing as well as distributing water heaters and other innovative products in the North America since 1974.

Rinnai was founded in 1920 by Hidejiro Naito and Kanekichi Hayashi and since then they have grown their product line from spa heaters to tankless water heaters, fireplaces, direct vent wall furnaces, portable cook tops, hydronic air handlers, and commercial grade rice cookers.

In 2001, Rinnai relocated to a new state-of-the-art research, training, and distribution facility in Peachtree City, Georgia.

WHY CHOOSE

Rinnai® Condensing – The condensing water heating technology by Rinnai offers several lifestyle benefits including continuous hot water. This technology also enables the running of multiple heaters or hot water appliances simultaneously.

The unique condensing design by Rinnai consists of two innovative and state-of-the-art heat exchangers that help it to achieve optimum water heating value per cubic foot of propane or natural gas.

Rinnai’s condensing process is able to deliver approximately 95 percent of thermal efficiency, which can be translated into energy savings. The energy saving is higher in Rinnai water heaters vis-à-vis traditional gas tank water heaters.

Concentric venting system – The concentric venting system in Rinnai has been specifically designed to enhance gas appliance venting. This makes the Rinnai water heaters safer as well as easy-to-install.

The concentric venting design in Rinnai water heaters is safer because of the polypropylene inner pipe that can withstand a varying flue temperature condition experienced through the life of the product.

The concentric venting system created by Rinnai uses only one pipe, which is fitted and locked into its place without using any glue or solvent and to a great degree the risk of gaps is eliminated.

ENERGY STAR® rating – The U.S. Department of Energy’s and Environmental Protection Agency has awarded Rinnai water heaters with the exclusive Energy Star rating.

Rinnai tankless water heaters received the ENERGY STAR rating as they have been able to maintain a minimum Energy Factor (EF) of 0.82 as well as a minimum gallons-per-minute flow of 2.5 at a 77-degree Fahrenheit rise.

  1. DO NOT BUY A RINNAI. They break down within three years and then you cannot get parts. Mine has been out of service for two weeks now and we can’t get an answer out of Rinnai as to when we might get the parts. So when (not if) your Rinnai breaks down, you will have no hot water for weeks.
