I have a PH28 and I had the same problem 1.5 years into installation. The part was fixed under warranty but I paid $300 labor. Now another 1.5 years after the first time having the same problem, It is happening again. There is definitely an inherent quality problem with this Paloma Tankless Water Heater.

After two years, we still can't get any hot water when we want it. It has always been hit or miss. It fires up for a second,, then shuts off. I've had repair company look at it, couldn't figure out the problem. I've spent a lot of money on this unit and repairs. Now my family is begging me to get a tank, which I am.
